Vina Štoka (winery)

Wine tasting in a 200-year-old wine cellar

The Štoka winery lies at 250–270 m above sea level and belongs to the Karst wine-growing region. It is located in the small village of Krajna vas, between Pliskovica and Dutovlje. The wine-growing and winemaking tradition in now in the hands of the 6th generation. The farm covers an area of 30 hectares, of which eight are vineyards with around 40,000 grape-bearing vines. Our vineyards are not centred on only one location but on several around the farm. Our biggest vineyard is in Krajna vas – its name is Brdo.

During the harvest, we hand-pick all our grapes, so we can select only the best ones for production and thus add to the quality of our wine.
